Tourism
Natur protectionist path to the top of Velka Raca belongs to
middle-dificult nature path. It starts in Dedovka above the
parking lot, where are located two boarding information
panels. The first is information about the protected
landscape area Kysuce and the second panel acquaints
visitors with an total length of the route. Path consists of
six stops, which are mark with information panels about this
valuable natural area. Camber of path is 660 m and trip
takes about four hours. The last panel is placed on top of
the Velka Raca in altitude of 1236 m.
Castle and mansion
There are many castle and mansions, worth watching: Castle
Strečno, Budatínsky castle, Oravský castle, Lietavský
castle, Mansion in Bytča, Bojnícky castle.
Bobsleigh track – ALPINCOASTER
The main attraction of the summer season is the bobsleigh
track. The bobsleigh ride starts on the right side of the
top cableway stop in Dedovka at the bobsleigh garage
building. Also the box office and a small refreshment stall
will be there. Each cart has two seats, it’s designed to
carry two adults. The bobsleigh track works in winter too.
Rope park – MONKEY WAY
Entrance to the rope park or the monkey way is situated at
the top cableway stop Dedovka and it serves to all those
taller than 150 cm. It is actually a track consisting of
several kinds of obstacles that have to be overcome in the
height of 2 to 4 m above ground among the trees. The safety
rope is installed in the climbing seat. Each visitor will
get a proper training before the start. The whole track is
supervised by an experienced instructor.
Children rope park – SMALL MONKEY WAY
The park is designed for children up to 150 cm tall, all the
obstacles is in the height bellow 30 cm above ground. There
are 8 obstacles – rope pyramid and rope tunnel in the
children circuit. The admission to this park is free. For
the smaller jumpers there is a trampoline site with 8
trampolines where the children can fully enjoy themselves.
The basic time unit is 5 minutes.
Scooter – MONSTER
It’s a robust scooter weighing 18 kg
with disk brakes and low centre of gravidity. It will really
go up and down any hill.
Downhill biking
The classic mountain downhill biking on a marked track down
the piste.
Bath

Cycling
Cyclo pathes are marked with painted signes, with big and
small direction indicatiors.
